Team Requirements:

While the core team comprised two electricians, additional manpower was strategically deployed to meet tight deadlines. Daily progress updates via SIMPRO facilitated seamless monitoring by the office team, ensuring project milestones were met.

Project Process:

The scope encompassed disconnecting existing communal lighting and integrating a state-of-the-art LED Thorlux Smart Scan System. The innovative system not only enhances illumination but also facilitates remote monitoring for fault identification, particularly in emergency lighting, streamlining maintenance efforts and cost-effectiveness.

Project Challenges & Solutions:

Navigating through an assisted living residential building like St Johns Court presented multifaceted challenges. Prioritizing resident safety, coordinating with the building manager and adhering to rigorous health and safety standards were paramount. Effective communication and adherence to the risk and method
statement ensured minimal disruption, fostering resident satisfaction.

After Project Care:

Post-commissioning, D Squared Electrical collaborated with Thorlux to familiarise end-users with the system. Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals were meticulously compiled, containing product information, warranty details, test certificates, and as-fitted drawings. A 12-month defect period underscored the commitment to client satisfaction, offering prompt resolution to any issues.
