Queen Mary’s Nursery

Queen Mary’s Nursery is a historic building providing a centre for childcare for the parents of the area.

The nursery was originally opened in 1899 as a children’s home, although was re-built in 1919 to be a nursery providing over a century of history within the industry. The building was dated and had been altered over the years, therefore were asked to carry out a full re-wire of the building with new containment’s, fire alarms and lighting.

We carried out a design and build for lighting to ensure the rooms are compliant too Cibse guidelines. Once approved, we then carried out a complete rewire throughout which left the clients over the moon. We even appeared on “Thats surrey TV”, which was a lovely touch.
